Decarank started with a simple idea: to make the rankings people really argue about over dinner, and to let readers decide which one comes next.

How we build each ranking

For every top 10 we combine three criteria: what expert critics say, what the public thinks, and the impact each entry had in its time. We check the facts (dates, titles, figures) against reliable sources and review the rankings when something changes. You can read the full process in our methodology.

You choose the next one

In the suggestions section anyone can suggest a top 10 and vote for other readers' ideas. The most voted get published, and the comments on each ranking help us keep it up to date.
